Security Officers Clash with al-Qaeda

HODEIDA, 30 Dec – A gun battle erupted a few hours ago between al-Qaeda suspected militants and officers from the National Security Agency (NSA) in the village of Deir Jaber, 8 kilometers north of the western town of Bajil in Hodeida. NSA officers stormed a house in the village where the alleged militants were holding a meeting seriously wounding al-Qaeda operative, Naser Ahmad Zorbyan. Several other al-Qaeda members managed to escape as security launched a manhunt to find them.
